And about RP, well, your ship, lets say corvo, landed on AI controled planet.
So...imagine, how many battle robots going to wait for your corvo's touchdown.
And imgagine, which robots gona be there. Your luck, if there going to be something like B1 battledroids, from SW. So, your choice is to sit into your ship, not letting anyone to come clouser, or open doors, and try your luck. In case of first choice, why then you landed, if you going to sit on your ship, which gona be parked. And note, that, if your corvo can fly in planet's low atmosphere, AI's ships also can... And it's very possible, that you will see two cruisers, floating over your ship.

Well, in any way, inRP you landed your ship on hostile controlled planet, you may considiret it lost.
