@~~Hone~~: while that might be nice for activity, I can't see it boosting rp. It ceases to be 'your' ship, and is instead just some trophy you can wave around a bit.

On the other hand, if you wanted to avoid 'given out to one person' stuff, then how about a unique 'flagship' for every official faction?
