Replace all Vanilla ships with remodals, capital ships as well-its the only way to improve balance.

We can continue tweaking these ships for years and come back to this same argument a lot older. I feel for McNeo. Having argued about ship balance in the past myself and been so utterly frustrated by it before I now have no patience for it.

So I say bring the revolution: complete player wipe, replacement of all vanilla ships with similar non-component models.

Eliminate the component vulnerability of vanilla ships and you are free to diversify within each ship class for variety without having any impossible balancing problems.

We solve three problems this way: cap whores have to start over again and we'll have a respite, possible player file corruption will be eliminated improving server performance and we get our new balanceable ship fleet.
