The Interspace Commerce supports their parent company, DSE) for their push into liberty diplomacy. DSE) is the only really active trading faction within Liberty at the time. IC| sometimes travels through but let's speak realities, If you need a base, who can build it? DSE). Need money fast? DSE can mine and haul. Need outside supplies? DSE) can get most of them.
Liberty Navy has the protection. The brute strength. I give them that. DSE) has the economical strength. In order to ensure that opinions are taken under consideration, DSE) should have a say in liberty. Look at DSE)'s contracts with all their base building. Some of those bases wouldn't be here without DSE).
If you have your head so far up your ass that you can't see DSE) holds up a good chunk of liberty, yet they don't have a say in much of anything. I can understand rheinland doing that, but even they have trading factions within the high command of rheinland.
Seriously guys, it's been like this for too long. In order to have a true democracy inRP, shouldn't the strongest of the factions be present? Shit has been too complacent for too long. Without change, disco will sink even farther, and the new players will have misdirection because the old leaders who never log, can't give out commands, and the chain of command is then passed down to people who weren't trained proper and thus train those under them the incorrect ideas and methods of disco.
It's not that hard. DSE) has the activity and leadership skills to make important choices. Stop hating people ooRP and sack up. Anyone can see that if change isn't presented, (Not only in liberty) then disco will just die out. Change keeps people interested, and DSE) can bring that change that people will be interested in.
From what I understood, when a leader was inactive. We would just kick them out and put a new one up. AKA the faction is ran by the people, the leaders just make important choices for the faction, because it's not the fact the faction can't make the choices, it's that the faction trust the leaders enough to make the choices for them.
That's pretty much it. I'll add more as I sit and think.
