well thats more tricky. - this lore was considered to be established. - it was not radiation that drove the settlers away - but the AI - and the planet is only accessible to humans, because .. well - we do not have an AI IFF - and there is nothing to stop ppl from docking there anyway.

but it was the something that was made up to explain the harvesters. if harvesters are no concern anymore - and most ppl may not even remember them anymore - you are free to think and RP what you like as long as you get enough ppl that think and believe as you do.

in the end - the planet is AI, it is a place that zoners would not want to return to, because the entire expedition was a total loss.

but feel free to RP radiation - since it is not described in detail anymore - it really is "that applies which is the most popular explanation"
