Since I'm extremely bored, here's some unscheduled leaks brought to you by your friendly neighborhood leakbot.

Let's say it's the first day of 4.87, and you've just finished downloading the Conquest.

You run the game, see the new title screen and that stuff, which you find rather disappointing because so far you can't find anything to complain about and blame the devs for.





So you go ahead and select a server to start farming flame-material to storm the devs with after playing for half an hour and before you've even gotten the hang of the new stuff.

You connect to the server and suddenly realize all your characters are gone, since a complete wipe was required to make the new version work properly. After raging for two whole weeks and saying you'll never play this $^&@% game again, you finally involuntarily start over.

So... You're finally on the server and decide to use the restart like you did when you first joined the server, cause you're not all old and cool like me, and didn't have to start from scratch when you first joined cause there were no restarts back then, and also no Helium cloud behind Erie. Actually... Now that I think about it, mining scrap around Pitts was much more fun than Helium in Pennsy. It was a nicer scenery too. Anyways...



After raging for another half an hour and swearing at your monitor in all sorts of languages, which thanks to Disco you are now perfectly fluent in, you decide to type /showrestarts, and notice the new restarts are finally implemented over a year and half after I first made them.

A secret service agent getting the dirty deeds of his corrupt government done, while having all sorts of sexual attraction toward Nomads, with unspeakable desire for being penetrated and becoming one of them?

Or simply a former miner who left the mining fields to revolt against the suppressive Gottkanzler, and happened to somehow get his hands on an armada of Jorms and all other sorts of crap along the way?

Son, remember all those samurai action films you used to watch when you were a kid? This ain't one of them. You're not here to fight little old guys with eyebrows as long as the cane they walk with. You're here to fly red ships and be all sorts of OP cause that freakin biased balance guy spent three years in ]bd[.

Maybe you're crazy enough to like being part of the least important faction of the least important house of the mod which shouldn't even exist and yet has had the last three mod versions centered around it. I'm certain your sole motivation for even giving this restart a try cannot be anything but becoming the 1iC of said faction and bugging me on Skype all day.

Do you feel like filling your head with some weird orange stuff until your manly parts no longer say Ciao and you die an old man with no family and no children? Well... You do have a family, but you shoot them cause they ate your sister or something. Don't blame them, they were starving.

Finally, you might be one of those guys who likes weird stuff and so is dragged toward playing a robot a thousand years from now in a galaxy far far away who still can't talk like a normal human being even though all of his robomates in different corners of Sirius have even managed to develop the ability of speaking with the native accent of that house.

What you do in cases like this? You of course start going through every single restart to find any sort of mistake in any of them, so you can rush to the forums and flame the devs about it. After all, what can be more fun? Not playing the actual game for sure. That can wait.
