Make an ID of one faction you like in such a way that you think its epic

Speaking of which have you guys even applied to be official and maybe have your own id someday? Just curious....

Nah we haven't I'm afraid, as much as we'd like to though. If we were to apply for officialdom we'd have to challenge DSE) for their spot. I don't really want to do that as they are a good faction and I don't think we'd have a chance anyways. We have no intentions to represent the DSE ID see, as we RP as a separate company, which splintered off from DSE.

Disco ID mechanics doesn't make it very easy for someone to try to build an entirely new company, as you have to use the faction ID of an estabilished corporation (or use Freelancer, but then we can't mine). So the ideal scenario would be if we got our own ID, but in order to try to request one...we need to already be official. Which takes us full circle, see the predicament now.

Hmmm...I don't really understand why you can't apply to be official, and if and when your approved, you guys get your id right then and there.

Platinum would then be considered a different corporation altogether, and you could move forward.

I don't see the harm in doing that for groups who have shown they are ready to become their own part of disco lore and start making their own history.

If it works as you described, then apply anyways, and ask for two dse factions....you basically do different things anyways. If some npc factions can be represented by more than one official group, why not all?

It would be neat to see Platinum Incorporated ID'ed and IFFED ships in my opinion.

It would also be easier to pirate you guys. EDIT: <----no it wouldn't cuz u already tag ur ships don't you? I. Am. Pot.
