Duties of Disco (Staff & Rules related)

As the staff is in search for.. well new staff, I guess it should be a good idea to discus some things wich might be a subject for this:

In my view there are more easy sollutions to the current problem. Lets say introduce moderators ingame. I know as i recently started exploring on a private server with some friends that well you can easy set moderator functions. Ak people who can have limited admin commands. other sollutions could be to adjust to the rules for PoB and change some of the useless and time consuming rules for factions like this rule:

4.10 Official player factions may request that the reputation of a player's ship be changed to hostile with respect to their NPC faction.

its something you cannot uphold, yet you spend time on it wich is just a bloody waste. The ones who are FR5 can easy rep themselves back and just let admins waste their time which they can use in a much better way for the community.

If things like these are not changed the new 'batch' how some might see and call it even will also get burned out before you can say CHEESE. Its not bad as I think every community suffers from certain problems which can be fixed with mostly good teamwork and communication.

An Admin must not be liked, some people know that others don't. You must be objective even towards the people you meet ingame and get to know over the time you play this game. I guess Zelot is one of the people who knows, as he was always there to be blamed. Not sure if he liked it or not. But as far I know he could be a good and valuable asset to the admin team once again. (at least if he wants into that seat again.)
