unless there is a weapon change as well, so for example if a ship type is not allowed a certain type of guns the guns just disappear.

i had 6 shires that had 4 deb turrets and 8 purples, then when 86 came out i just had 6 empty shires, i had to rebuy transport turrets

so i think try to see what ship loadout changes are going to happen and make sure your not wiped
