Should there be more unique ships?

No one is deserving of it. That's the thing. It's not our ship. And the fact that its notoriety and infamy is what it is, we're sitting here going, "What in the hell...?" and scratching our heads. Maybe it's just an old-member thing, but it's a kick to the gut when we see our efforts fizzle out and then something like this happens. And by import I mean Shodan. Shodan, really? Shodan...

As I said: Want to open ships up to the public? Start filling battlecruiser and generic cruiser slots. The Necrosis would make an excellent Outcast battlecruiser. And the Emperor's yacht could make for a fun Kusari dreadnought.

"Deserving of it"? Mate, it's a pixel spaceship in a game which, by the looks of it (though correct me if I'm wrong), you don't even play any more. He wrote his roleplay and the request is solid; what more do you want? A feature length production or something? And what are you on about when you say it's not "our" ship? Whose ship? Discovery's? Anyone but Mon'star's? The thing isn't being used, it's just languishing there benefiting nobody, an unseen relic to a roleplay that, while lengthy, consisted largely of "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA", at least on the couple of times I bumped into him. I know the maniacal laugh was a character trait, but jeez.
Point is, Mon'star the Red and his oft-overrated roleplay is long gone, and I bet the decision to rerelease the Necrosis wasn't taken lightly in any case.
Did you try and SRP the Necrosis at some point and get denied and now you just can't see green cheese? Because you keep mentioning this kick in the gut/slammed into the dirt thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure sounds like it.

All that said, however, I do have to agree that the SHODAN thing is really weak. That part of the RP is an import, sure, which detracts from the overall quality. That, and the Necrosis kinda would have made a kickass OC BC, with or without a big Maltese cross painted on the side.
