Samuel L. Jackson doesn't cuss in every movie he's in. Now take a show like "Burn Notice": There are spies, cops, and thugs in that show and they're not dropping F-bombs all over the place. But I'm not here to debate taste in media.

Ignoring the fact that swearing is a real world thing that cannot be translated into online video games, more specifically where the player can decide the thoughts and actions of his/her character is just pure stupidity in my eyes.

It often is translated into video games...and those are rated M for mature. If the Admins decided they want this server to be E for everyone...then why don't you try to conform to their style instead of trying to change it to suit yours? Otherwise.....plenty of other games out there where I'm sure you can cuss all you want.

If you also believe we shouldn't make the transition of real world conversation into the game, I believe you should double check the definition of role-play

There is plenty of real-world conversation that doesn't involve cussing. I just don't believe it's necessary to cater to the lowest common denominator. I don't believe any serious RPer should be disappointed they must make their pirate/rogue character say something akin to "Darn it!" instead of saying "F___k!" That's where a person's creativity can come into play - which is the essence of RP.
