- I severly miss a ZOI, right now it looks like you are Siriuswide, your ID proposal sugests the same, this might be a tad over the top

Piracy is limited to Omegas (and only certain targets), Rheinland, and Taus. Our free passage through Bretonia and Liberty makes the first two viable, and Kansas isn't that far from Tau space thanks to Baffin. We're not using large ships for it; snubs and cargo ships, so even though we go pretty far, it's reasonable to supply on Zoner, Junker, and other friendly bases. I haven't even seen one of our gunships since we stopped trying to kill people in Liberty.

I would posit a counterpoint. In general the server's nowhere near as active as it used to be. Trying to pen any faction in too small an area may well lead to its death, if that area's inactive. See also: Kusari. Perhaps letting a few people extend their ZoI to dead regions will help with the activity there.

-Aside from the Liberty stuff, verything i see is Outcast + , so how do you separate yourselves from the OC diplomacy, tech and activity-wise?

Well, that'd be because historically we were very close to the Outcasts, especially after the Hacker diplomacy fell through a while back (we've patched things up since). However, now we're trying to go mostly lawful. Pretty much everything's in flux at the moment - RP should have consequences, so nothing's set in stone just yet.

-How does the neutral SCRA conection work out - as you guys don't look very commie to me and the SCRA is as far as i remember quite opposed to pirates(and anybody connected to cardamine)

First, see previous, we don't move cardi anymore and haven't in a while. Second, it's expected to be temporary. A ceasefire of convenience for common interests in the Omegas. As the Omega-49 issue draws to a close, I'd expect things to return to the usual state of affairs.

-if you are originally based on lane-hackerdom, how do the poor sairs even show up on your diplo list? (i for example have never seen or heard anything of you guys ) - this is just a minor nitpick

That's a good question. Let me reply to it with a question. How do half these corporate factions know what Nomads are?

If you want the most recent example, we got pulled into the Omega-49 clusterbang in an attempt to help TAZ. There were issues with Corsairs.

Also, we used to move cardamine. Occasionally through the Sigmas. There were issues with the Corsairs.

And we want to get a few people on our side. They have issues with Corsairs.

So, y'know. Sucks to be the Corsairs.

Well, for one thing how many Ageira people do you actually see?

Secondly, I'm pretty sure they're not valid targets. We don't like them, but we'll undermine them in other ways.

I have plans for this that I will not reveal until they're ready. Metagaming risk, y'know. The idea however is less combat support and more... assisting with other goals.

To repeat what I said above, we're basically a gang of semi-reformed pirates that are trying to legitimize themselves with basically the only thing they know. Unfortunately, this happens to be cargo interdiction; fortunately, there's always someone at war. As for the diplomacy, I reiterate, nothing is permanent. We'll make deals as suits our goals, if the other party's willing to play ball - so far, most of them have been, so it's just as much on them as it is on us.

Everything has to start somewhere. And another part of our plan is to have a public ID for NO (I wanted it as part of the faction proposal, Kaz disagreed) so it isn't just limited to us. So even if the VR does die out, anything else we get will be open to other people.
