...coming back to my original point that pretty much every (exception of 1, perhaps 2) faction has been just pre-occupied with their POB and disregarding the actual agenda, that of RP, encounters, piracy, events you name it....

I'd gladly name Gateway as an exception, as well as several others. Our particular PoB was designed and intended as a trading hub; something the server DOES need to help spurn a more dynamic economy, as well as give us Shipping Company factions (Bowex, Gateway, Samura, USI, RepEx, etc.) something to actually DO. And it certainly didn't stop us from doing other things, like interacting with miners, providing work for escorts, and attacking rival shippers who crossed our path.

With Bases gone...you've basically killed over 75% of our intended RP - so now instead of shipping orders for customers, we're basically just gonna haul goods for ourselves for cash (especially since most players/factions like IMG, BMM, DSE actually prefer to haul their own ores), and probably just use that money to finance pews.

If Bases are gonna be SRP-only from here out....I'm putting my request in now. Otherwise....I'm sure several of us would like a refund on our 1B+ investment.
