Restrictions on capital ship use

if you roleplay that people flying a warship are powerful and sort of important people, you wouldn t go around and "throw insults" at them.

thats a sort of behaviour that is ... well, not very much in-role for a pilot that is flying a fighter and happens to fly pass a battleship.

of course, you could aswell roleplay it based on your own role, mind. flying a fighter does not make you any better. - or would you like it when people met you in midspace and insulted you? - for all you know is that they fly a capital ship - but you don t know what reason they have. who knows - maybe more reason to fly such a ship than you have to fly even a starflier.

try a bit more emphaty, flying around insulting people is as much roleplay as flying around blowing everything up - which means, no roleplay at all, no matter if you hide an insult in colourful terms that are sophisticated sci-fi talk.

if they violate the rules, you can write up a report. if they don t, what gives you the right to insult them then - unless you play a psycho that tends to insult every ship bigger than his. - but i do hope we don t have too many of such kind around.
