So direct diplomatic and economic sanctions against the Corsair Empire is like shooting ourself in the foot.”

They won't be able to conquer the planet, but orbital bombardment of Crete and attacks Tripoli Shipyard will force the Corsair fleet to retreat to Gamma and help defending the corsair home-system.”

“We will then blame the Commies – who probably won't mind – telling the Outcast and Hessians about the opportunity to attack gamma. Lastly OSI will loan the Corsair empire money to rebuild their economy and negotiate some new treaties.”
