Okay, my turn.

I'v joined the 'LH' just a week ago.
When the clan first started, I had nothing but nice words for it, as well as later, before i joined.
It was all theoretical, based on what I read on board and maybe just a few meetings in the game.
Now I can say a few things from my experience in the past few days.

For one, I got a totally new look on the Liberty space.
On my LPI character, those things couldn't be seen, as well as some things that I saw on my LPI char can't be seen on my LH. Logical, eh?
Anyway, now I can see that Liberty is pretty much overwhelmed by lawfuls of all kinds.
Lawful : Unlawful ratio is about 3:1 at least. Maybe that's the way it should be in the real world, but I'm not convinced it should be like that in FL.

Now a few things about the clan itself.

-Progress technique is the best off all Disco factions. There is no doubt in that.
Maybe a bit too much for new people to swallow, but those who are persistent will work their way trough.
Those who are not interested in committing can always find another 'easier to play' faction.
But for those who are persistent, I can guarantee you that you will learn many things in the Lane Hackers.
I have been on Disco for almost 6 months, and I still learn in the Lane Hackers.
Mostly strategies, tricks for escaping (like the one with a Nuke > Lane, didn't know that before I'v seen it in the document), pirating techniques and improving my skills in a light fighter.
Progress is almost impossible without basic knowledge about RP, so people who are mindlessly looking only for PVP should not join.
However, those who want to learn to RP - this is the right faction for you.
Your progress won't be fast, but once you pass the first stage, you will already be ready for most things you can encounter on this server.

-People in the LH were really great when I joined. Patient people, as well.
I'v made quite a 'few' mistakes in my short career, and they still haven't lost their temper with me.
They were also more then happy to transfer their knowledge to me, some things i knew, some things i didn't, as stated earlier.

-Though it's not a 'PVP clan', LH has some really good fighters, so you will be able to learn a lot of things from them. With their guide you will quickly become far better then you were before you joined. Guaranteed.

-LH doesn't have as many members as some other factions do, and the reason probably lies in that 'strict' stance of it's leader.
Which is, actually, a very good thing.
As the time is passing, more people will slowly join, but those people will be the right people.
It's some kind of a 'filtrating' system. And no, I don't mean that it's an elitists clan, far from that.
Everyone can have a shot, and everyone who shows only that he is willing to learn will succeed.
Of course we are not rejecting people because they are going to die in the first 10 seconds of fight.
Of course we are not rejecting people because they don't know to RP.
They will learn from us.

-You will see a lot of 'unfair' fights, and that I can guarantee you.
Unfair in the meaning of numbers. We still manage to win most of those fights.
Not because we'r looking for trouble, but because it seems 'lawfuls' in liberty are pretty much bored and are looking for action.
So, they come to us.

To be short, my experience in the LH so far has been - educational and refreshing!
I'v learned quite a few things I didn't know, and I'm seeing all the stuff I'v never seen before.
How many people actually do Pirating on the Trade Lanes? Yup, that's us.:)

All in all, I will just quote the best description for the LH :

Quote:The Most Challenging Piracy Career in Sirius

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.

Can't let you bash folks in your sig Chopper-Del
