I would like to see the hardcore outcast players views on this though, as I know making the Sally as good as the Kracken in terms of damage would certainly upset the current balance.

Erm... You mean, "balance", right?
Because, I fail to see any Corsair advantages in fighter combat.

And then the other guns, neutron guns especially (Trefoil, Unioner gun, Disinfector etc) will have to be looked at, as well as the other guns of ALL the other factions on the server, but to a lesser extent.

Compared to Kraken, all guns need to be looked at. So, why not Salamancas as well, but in another way?
There is no gun, house or unlawful that can be compared to Kraken.
Only codes and Blasters, which is a bit dumb.

EDIT: 650 damage?? Thats like, Wyrm II damage. Now, I'm aware that the concept of a Neutron cannon is one that encompasses supercompression and propulsion towards a target, but that damage is equivalent to the 3.03 wyrm. Of course I would be in favour as a Corsair, but looking at the issue from a more neutral standpoint, that is ... a bit high.

It is high, but still it does less damage then Wyrm. Why? Wyrm hits more often.

Anyway, I have no point to fight for Corsair cause here, I'm not really a hard coded Corsair member.
If you think Salamanca's are ok as they are, I will believe you.
But nothing can change the fact that Sabres mount Krakens while Titans mount Blasters/Codes.
And that is just wrong.
