To the High Command of the Kusari Naval Forces


Greetings,


I'm Peter Dempsey, chief of the Security seciton of the Galactic Secure Trade (GST). I send humbly you this message to ask your permission to pass through the Kusarian space for 2 "heavy", and 2 "medium" ships:

- 1 "Corvo" Zoner Deep Space Explorer ([GST]-GSTS-Vagrant)
- 1 "Fearless" Zoner Destroyer ([GST]-GSTS-Wespe)
- 2 Zoner Gunboat ([GST]-GSTS-Stalwart, adn [GST]-GSTS*******)

Why this request ?

Our company is a private company focused on ultra-secure transport. We are proud to say that we can get anything at any point, and get it anychere. Given the increase of piracy in our troubled galaxy, as well as frightening equipement which have pirates, we had to provide ships of upper classes. That's why we obtained these old-generation ships, and that's why we ask you the permission to use it in the Kusarian space.

About these vessels, they are equipped to deal with any threat to us or our customers, and of course of any threat against civilian who is within our reach, and are almost exclusively equipped with weapons to counter the attacks of fighters and bombers.

To make things clear, We absolutely not question the effectiveness of the Kusari Naval forces, but some of our cargos aresometimes for remote systems, where there is no laws (or no civilised laws). In such cases, bypass Kusari is sometimes impossible, and I think you'll understand our wish to ensure the safety of our freighters from Kyushu to Freeport 11.

Regarding the conditions of use of such vessels, here's what we propose:
- We will not deploy two vessels class "cruiser" simultaneously, without special permission from you.
- We intend to announce our entry into your areas aboard these ships as soon as possible to one of the KNF officer in our radio range, so he can proceed to a full scan, for example.
- None of our "heavy equipement" will dock on your territory, with the exception of the Aomori station, and unless of course if critical damage occured.
- As you can see, these ships are essentially deterrent, and will open fire only in self-defense.
- Of course, assist the enemies of Kusari is excluded.


These are the conditions that we offer. They are of course fully negotiable, because it does not come to mind to dictate the conduct of naval forces Kusari to us. If you see other points requiring clarification, fell free to contact me.


Finally, I want to apologize to KNF for anxiety we caused when the Wespe is trespassing in Kyushu system. We hope this message by restoring the order of things, and complying with the kusarians laws....
