If darker skin requires additional maintenance over lighter skin, then yes it is disadvantageous. It may not be much of a problem for some, but it would have some sort of impact.
To clarify, this thread is not me saying "THERE ARE NO dark skinned people because of a less sunlight filled future" but in fact "WOULD THERE BE dark skinned people because of a less sunlight filled future." I tend to play devil's advocate and people often misunderstand.
