Shield limitations

The Luxury/prison liners have a Champion shield but if you check it is an upgraded one. It has a shield of (I think) 20k. All we would need to do is change the name.

So you think the liners should have worst shields then the Cruisers / Destroyers too?

Ok, but why?

If equipped well they can pound the **** out of or destroy most Cruisers / Destroyers they come across.

I mean that a in fight e.g

A luxury liner Vs a Kusari destroyer, the destroyer has an advantage of 2 turrets, the liner is more agile.

A prison liner Vs a Britonian destroyer, the liner has a 2 turret advantage and it is more agile. The destroyer has more hull armour.

A prison liner Vs a Liberty cruiser, the liner again has more agility and has one turret more then the cruiser. The cruiser has the advantage of more hull armour and the forward gun (though it wont be able to hit the liner most of the time).

A luxury liner Vs a Rhienland cruiser, the liner is more agile. the cruiser has 4 more turrets, more hull armour.

A luxury liner Vs a huegenot, the liner and the huegenot are both pretty agile. the huegenot has 3 more turrets, 2 gun mounts and more armour.

(assuming they are all using the same shield and armour upgrades.)

They are really cheap too (for a capital ship that is).

This is why I would like to know what ship class they are going to be and what shield class they are going to be allowed to use.
