Biography: I was born on Capetown Station to my parents Sean and Ruth Courtney. Naturally when I was of age I joined my father as a Bounty Hunter travelling the sector in search of bounties. After several years passed my parents were both murdered by a potential bounty whilst I was out on another mission.

This led me to focusing all my efforts on hunting down this single target and exacting my revenge for the loss of my family. As a result of this I failed in my duties within the Guild and was relieved of my position and entitlements within the guild.

Three years of purposeless freelancing for any scrap of credits I could find eventually accumulated in a decision to find a new direction in life, feeling forced out of my home much like the plight of the Colonials I set a course for the most appropriate sounding place, New Hope.

As I passed by a recruiting stand I found an empathy for what had happened to the Colonials so strong I was drawn in to talk to a recruiting officer. After what would have been an hour of conversation I decided to take up the cause, for the freedom of the Colonials as a people, for a safe land to live in and most importantly for those left behind everywhere; both in the Crayter system and all around the galaxy.
Relevant Experience: My experience as a hunter and a freelancer should prove invaluable with the efforts of the CR and hopefully allow me to prove that I will do my very best at all times.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: I wish to join the military to fight for the rights of people and to overcome oppression in one of its' many forms; the Gauls.
