What you're suggesting, along with a few other "strictly eyecandy" perks are already considered, but as they'd require a whole new plugin written for them to actually work, they're nowhere near the top of the priority list right now and may only be considered for post-beta updates, so yea... It might happen, but don't expect it happening anytime soon.
