IFF - identify friend or foe
Droprep - server command that causes your highest rep to drop to three or four bars above neutral - NOTE you can have rep with factions you have not met yet due to game mechanics, so you might drop rep like crazy without effect
Ion storm - (RP) a lag spike/server restart
Novas - Nova Torpedos (not to be confused with SNAC/SN
POB - player operated base
sair - slang for corsair
