Flieger Voelkel reporting, fresh out of military school.
While patrolling with Fähnrich Schmidt, we ran accross some trouble inside the New Berlin system. The trouble in question was a Red Hessian battleship, the RHS-Kassel, setting up shop near the Bonn-Brandenburg gate.
While inspecting the vessel, it opened fire at me, so I called in for backup. Schmidt fetched his bomber, while the RNC Neckar, a 2ndF cruiser ran to our aid as well.
The crew of the Neckar handled their ship exceptionally well and they were able to evade the Kassel's fire as well as deal sufficient damage to it, while me and Schmidt provided small arms assistance.
The enemy battleship, after a good ten minute shootout, came down in flames.
Chalk one up for the Rheinwehr.
