And a bomber has almost no chance to kill a BS with SNAC shots, the BS shields recharge to fast for that.
SNAC's are not stupid since they force you to get close to hit. All you need is time to kill caps yes, but in that period why not be pro-active and get an actual counter on the way such as a gb or fighter? Unless said cap was expecting to be able to 1v3 bombers if in a battleship, in which case I laugh and say tough luck.

I agree with you, to land a shot with a SNAC you have to be close...but in turn it lets the BS get a better shot at you.
A BS was not ment to go looking for bombers to kill (unlike a GB) but it can kill them.
Heck when I see 3 nova bombers I run for my life when flying a BS (by the time you see they have novas it's to late)
All in all I think bombers and there guns are just fine and need no change!
