[Fall of Freeport 4]: Cutscenes of the fighting -||- rp thread

Nikola Tesla wasn´t expect huge problems when he was ask to take part in a escort for some ALG and IMG Transports at Freeport 4. Maybe some pirates, nothing the convoy could take care of.

So he lunched his Eagle very heavy fighter and make his way from Java up to the Magellan System to Freeport 4.

As he arrives some traders came along and he awaits the arrive of the transporter convoy. Then he realized that something shown on the scanner which he didn´t expected.

Some Libertonian Navy Ships appears on the scanner and he received following message:


“Attention denizens of Freeport 4. This is Admiral Alan Polstari, Liberty Navy. Per official policy of the Republic of Liberty your station now falls under Liberty Navy protection. All non-essential personnel are to evacuate immediately.”

He thought that this is a joke, that can´t be its a neutral Freeport, but short after that message a LN Battlecruiser came out of the lane and took blocking position in front of Freeport 4. Along with it some light cruisers, boarding ships and several snub fighters.

Freeport 4 replied: “This is Freeport 4 Administrator speaking. What are... what the...”

Panic and disorientation came up and everyone was confused about the situation which came out of nowhere.

The following communication log proof that:

“Navy, this is IMG John Gylras... can you repeat that?” John put out in a trembling voice.

“All armed forces are to lay down their weapons.” LNS-Anchorage replied. “Freeport 4, prepare for boarding action.”

The only rejoinders he got was: “What? Boarding? What?”

Freport 4: “This is Freeport 4, hailing the Liberty Navy. We are a neutral entity.”

“Power down all defences and lay aside all arms and no harm will befall you.” the LNS-Anchorage announced.

Gyrlas shouted: “Freeport, Freeport, what are the orders?”

“This is Freeport 4 to Liberty Navy: We are a neutral entity. We claimed so and informed Liberty about it” the command centre replied. “This is Freeport 4 to commander of the Liberty forces: Do you really order us to abandon the base?”

LNS-Anchorage: “All non-essential personnel are to evacuate Freeport 4.”

[LN]William Jensen: “IMG personal, you are to leave the area immediately in preperation of boarding.”

Freeport 4: “This is an attack against a neutral facility. You cannot do that!”

LNS-Anchorage: “All security personnel are to stand down at once.”

That should solve as a short impression of the situation. Luckily the transporter convoy arrived at this moment and the IMG and ALG freighters where able to get some civilians out of the mess when everything was going mad.

A Nova-Torpedo was fired onto the Freeport and the defending ships starting to fire at the ships of the Liberty Navy. One fighter was killed by the station just one second after it fired the torpedo another was going down in the dog fight between the IMG defending Ships and Liberty Navy which was going on in front of the Freeport.

After some minutes of fight, the IMG surrender and lay down their arms and retreated out of the system.
