Fortunatus pushed hard on the door to the Craven's Nest. Hinges squealed in protest as the door was slowly forced open. He looked sadly at the scene that spread before him.

Where had they all gone? His companions, his wingmen, his friends. Sir Andrew Stuart, Sir Jack Fraser, Finn Hopkins, Lord Sir Reginald Notworthy III, Reginald Notworthy IV, Nobby Preston, Maggie Hacket, Josephine Monson, Victor Henderson, Earl Grey, Sir Marty Mindry, Sir Arnold Rimmer, Michael Greaves, "Salty" Bob, Alain Tessier, Reginald Dobson, Thomas Witte, Arthur Wilson, Lord Thaddeus J Smithington-Smythe, Nathan Hargreaves, Martin Barclay and all the others he had flown with, drunk with, laughed with.

This was truly a sad day. He left the door open on his way out. Maybe someone would find this place and breathe new life into it.
