Hi All here,

I'm just going to start a new char who will be fighting for Bretonia.

First it came to my mind that he could be of Molly origin but he is Bretonian enough to fight against Kusari in the war.
But I'm not sure how this could work in Disco.FL.
Here the enemy of my enemy is my friend, so a Molly will end up being friendly to Kusari military. Right?

If it is like this, he will be a hardcore-stubborn Armed Forces officer.
And I must admit it is confusing also for me which player fraction would be the most fitting for such a character.

Btw my Junker char Jane decided to operate in/from Bretonia space too, she is as far as possible neutral to all except Xenos and Hogosha. She is a Junker and flyes under a JunkerID but is more a trader than a smuggler.
Btw are artifacts contraband in Bretonia? (the prices suggest a no while everywhere else yes)

As for the Molly independence: the first stepi normaly a kind of autonomy, not full independency. Then, if the autonomy works mutualy fine, you might not really willing to cut yourself fully off the mother country.

But if Dublin etc ever gets independent: there will be no reason for a Molly fraction - what do you want to fight for?
But under the Bretonian umbrella having autonomy (BS Essex restationed from Dublin to a Tau? system) you could be a proud, unique line fighting with your cultural brethen.
It could be something similar to the Commonwealth idea.
Even BMM would have no problem with that, the ydon't care about polititcs, what matters it profit.

BMM and Molly's getting along... I'm sorry I cannot see it given the current rumours. They are as hostile to each other as any two ther factions in FL. There is no trust, respect or shared goals.
