I'm personally a fan of throwing on some Floyd, dimming the lights, and chilling out.

I draw furries. It works as a quick de-stress - they're rather easy to do because you can be a lot freer with the proportioning than you can, and by the time I've got the head finalised I'm too busy enjoying myself to actually care about the issue which initially angered me in the first place.

Another tried and proven method is to listen to music (preferably something fast and light, of any genre). If it's late get some sleep, if it's not do some work, if you feel the need to vent that badly make some music/write, if you don't feel confident doing either read a book, watch some TV, or go on an none-Discovery related forum and just read the content, don't post anything. Exercise is also good.
