Kreig might have deflected him from reading a persons mind aboard his ship but he still had other ships outside the range of whatever that thing was.

Rheinland Captain: Admiral Kreig! Something is happening to our bridge officers! They ar...

The captains next sound was a high-pitched scream that did its best to hurt his ears. Blood started trickling from his nose and mouth. The view of the holocamm was still set on showing similar effects on the bridge crew, some of them even had blood coming from the eyes and ears. Then there was a deaf-like silentness. The entire cruiser had been reverted to a ghost hip in less than a minutes. The cruiser continued on the course it had been set on but the weapons had ceased to fire. Going at cruise speed his ship slammed into an asteroid. The spikey asteroid cut straight through the ship ripping it in two.

Dab: You have three options here Admiral. You can either surrender we will find out what we want to know and leave you to your quest, or you can tell us and save us all the hassle. Or third, you keep refusing me and we destroy your fleet. You might think that cloaking field has saved you, and you are partly correct. It has saved you from my fleet's sensors. But the big mistake you made was using the nullifier. You see it broadcasts through your comm gear and I can sense a large black area that I have no control over. And this allows me to find you. And I could always use your own ships against you.

Suddenly one of the gunboats in his fleet abrubtly changed to a colition course with the nearest cruiser.

Rheinland Captain: Gunboat 23 come in. I repeat Gunboat 23 come in. We can't contact the crew sir, even if we destroyed the gunboat its debris would still destroy the cruiser.

Dab: Now Admiral Krieg. I do not think you understand the gravitude of the situation.

An unmarked battlestar closed in on them in a speed noone had though possible for a ship it's size. It immediately opened fire on Kreig's flagship destroying every comm antennie it could find.

The ship then turned and accelerated away before its shields could be taken down.

Dab *in Kreig's mind*: Ah much better. Now why don't we see what we can find.

Kreig felt something like being stabbed in the head by a rusty knife. He couldn't hear anything but his throat burned in a way he knew he must be screaming.

Dab: Now don't worry Admiral you won't die. I need you alive after all.
