Log Entry, Sirius Date, 03/06/08, Brother of the Corsair Brotherhood, Antonio Banderas

Today as I was heading back home to Crete after my treatment on Yaren, an Outcast bomber came onto my scans and intercepted me in Kappa. The pilot was flying a Blood Dragon bomber, my comms channel flashed, I openned the video comm. It was Maria.

"Its time to finish this Antonio, there is no other way, and you know it."

"I do, I have always wanted to know who flew better."

We closed the distance, I ripped off her shields with my Coladas, but she hit me with an Inferno. She turned before I could and her four codename weapons ripped up my hull, I repaired and engine killed and fired a supernova right at her, it struck...right as she used sheild batteries. I swore as her code guns ripped off a Colada. It continued like this, she ripped off another Colada before I hit her again with a supernova, but it hit her supernova. It blew off, I wasn't sure if that was good or bad, atleast I couldn't get blown to pieces in one hit. I was out of regenerations, she still had all her nanobots of course. I had 50% hull and both our shields were down, I jousted again...took a deep breath, lined my left wing with her hull...I pulled away, I looked out the back, pieces of hull drifted by. I breathed a sigh of relief and scanned for a pod. I found none, the only thing I found besides pieces of hull was all of her logs, I tractored them in, At the bottom of the last pages I wrote these words.

I then copied her logs and jettisoned the original into space next to the remains of her hull. A tear welled up in my right eye as I realized what just happened. She had no chance, the supernova must've hit her cockpit. I remembered what we used to do when we were younger, I wished for a moment I had never left Malta. I flew towards Crete once again.
