And then this was removed, because some ***** idiots thought that having to roleplay = favouritism or corruption or something.
Those ***** idiots kicked up a fuss with the admin team over it, and said "but we obnoxious, abrasive arseholes, who can't be ***** to roleplay with anyone, can't get the ***** we want! Look... Look at those people over there who have learned how to cooperate and are generally personable and nice to people... Those people who are roleplaying and enjoying the game's setup... They're getting what they want, through compromise. I don't wanna compromise with anyone... I don't wanna play the game like we're supposed to, by roleplaying. I just want to get what I want to have, without having to do anything for it."
And so, because this tiny minority of viciously obnoxious, knuckle-dragging, uncompromising, abrasive, social-skill-less, bell-ends was loud enough, this new system came in, and suddenly nobody had to interact with anyone any more, and the entire game was worse off for it.
