Event and System request: The Olympic Games

i was inspired by some sort of "get players to bretonia"-thread on this one.

1. the sports

- space race (who would have thougt)
- space rally (fly through this badland-like radiation thing and get the VIP on base1, fly through the asteroid field with the pirate/wild NPCs to get the slave in base2 etc.etc.)
- offical faction PvP
- offical faction Team vs Team (the ring could be some kind of a huge mine-sphere)
- offical ladder pvp for civ's with medals and stuff
- high score shooting (opponents are beeing sent to diffrent _small_ NPC-patrol routes. who shoots the most in time wins)
- Cap-Soccer (some capitals trying to ram a passive bomber into the opponents goal.... but i doubt this is gonna work ;D)



2. lawfulls only

now if these disciplines are only for lawfulls, what should the unlawfulls do?

you want to bring your fraction in the spotlight? impress the others to boost recruitment? you want to show those damn currupt houses with their pre-arranged propaganda games what kind of skill is going to blast them in the futur? welcome to your new playground, sir!
needing someone to guard all that sport and stuff, means a real bigpack of action for every one, participating the games or not.


3. the idea of a olympic (spawn-)system

i kind of had the idea of a complete new system as a new spawnpoint to get people out of NY. then i started thinking about "decorating" that system and its location, got inspired by that certain thread - and here i am;).
my idea was, that this system should be guarded by EVERY police faction. means: planet one guarded by rheinland, planet two by liberty etc.
so the freshmen could say "dude, i realy like the Kosari[or what ever]-style" and make a free choice. the system should be damn cheap and lowleveled, so players will be forced to leave if they really want to make some money.

now you might ask how this kind of securety could be ensured if houses are at war. but there are easy explanations/backgroundstorys you can think about.

124A.S. the system "olympic" was discovered by a international survey team. the system was rather poor of minerals but very rich regarding to biological life with four class M planets. One of those planets had the exact size of the old mother earth, the same temperatur ratio and even the same number of continents and one moon. having the same day-rotation as earth had, it became the new norm for a sirius-year.
the news of a planet, so similar to the legendary origin of humanity, was a big sensation and spreaded like a wildfire over the young colonies of sirius. the survey team became famous over night; even today every first university on a young colony is named after one of the members of this survey team.
the houses, whos elders still remembered the storys of their parents and grandparents about the unity of their nations in fighting the big evil, were centuries away from leading wars against each other. they decided to commonly colonise the system and perform the old tradition of the onlympic games on this certain planet.
to commemorate the loss of their former allies, they named the three other planets Paris, Rom and Madrid.
religous groups fastly formed and blahblahblah x_x

in short: no war during the games. no war in that system.


to help a little i could design some medals for the victors signatur or learn how to script a system;)
