As a regular trader, i can tell you without a doubt that traders are NOT over-protected. But that allready has been said like 10 times...

The pirate's should indeed change their way of handling situations. Every time i get pirated by a lone VHF or even a bomber, i fall out my chair laughing.... The VHF can hardly damage you at all, as for the bomber... As long as he keeps distance and knows how too use his S-Nova, he's fine. Get too close or miss your s-nova shots and you are doomed. However, when i encounter a LF, teamed VHF's or VHF and bomber, ill start running without thinking about it. A Gunboat on the other hand, well to be honest, i wait for the demand, calculate my loss of time and mostly just die...

Every trader knows how Turret-view works and every single one of them knows how too aim at the crosshair. Most pirates i encounter the last few weeks, are pretty nice RP-Pirate's. They say please, dont ask for too much and are willing to negotiate the payment they want. As for the ones that just use the simple "2 mil or die"-line, ill try my very best too run, or i get killed. For the rest of those pirate's, ill still try too get out, but i will pay before i'm out off nanobots. Simply cus its safer too have a full hull and a few bots left.

On the other hand, most traders i see, have a pretty silly name and wont say anything other then "hi m8, cu l8er" and "lol". Offcourse there all still traders out there (tagged and even untagged) that do know the meaning of the game.

To be honest, if i have too look back at the last few months, i think we finally got rid of most of the non-RP players. Unfortunatly, those still around, seem too have earned enough credits for a whole fleet of cap-ships. I actually think the general level of RP is going up, although more and more Rant/Whine-Topics emerge....

Just my opinion though
