Genesis' attention was drawn to the scientist, slowly making his way through a world that existed only in his mind. Slowly but surely, the man was adapting to this new reality. His mind remained whole, but how much could it take before snapping like a twig?
The world around Hans seemed to grown even darker. The forest itself appeared to be looking at him. Were the trees slowly bending towards him?
A strong gust of wind blew through the forest. Right in front of Hans, however, it suddenly stopped. Hans could feel that something was right in front of him, watching him. Invisible, but most definitely there.
Then, a voice spoke. Powerful, but distorted. Neither male nor female. Just like it had been that day Hans approached a Guardian: "A question was asked. Now, it is answered." "Our question in return: why did you ask, when you already knew the answer?"
