"Two simple questions..? Nothing is simple.."

It happened again.

"One.. What do you intend to get done in what time you have left in life?

"Live.."

"Die.."

"Both.."

Managing to speak up, she answered.
"If I find even a slight bit of joy.. it will keep me alive, for a moment."

"Two, do you have anyone you care about?"

She didn't want to answer. It bugged her again.

"Just tell him.. It won't hurt."

"Keep quiet.. Tell him nothing!

She went quiet. For longer than usual. Until she had the strength to talk again.

"If I lose someone again.. Her face now turning to look at Jack. Lifeless eyes, no hint of any emotion. An odd but frightening expression.

"It would be the equivalent of being in hell."

Subsequently she looks away, downwards on the ground. Silenced, for now.
