Her thoughts spiral again, with the other Voice that has returned.

"A chance.. use it.. or give it up."

"Are you going to succumb to it..? Are you?

"I have no other choice.. I want my life to get better.. but.."

"Doubt.. you're doubting it. Why?

"Progress can't be made without sacrifice.."

The thoughts fly away, once more just plain blank. She had her answer. Whether she was going to regret it or not, that she did not know.
"Just.. do it.. I hate this. All my life ever has been is just dread and sorrow.. I want it to change."

One thought still lingers, however.

"What will you do to help me, Jack?"
