I have been thinking off this for a while, and i hope you like it.

19 years after the war with the nomads, a new system is discovered, and in the system is the discovery of the decade. In the system, was a Nomad Hyper Gate. Tests showed that it linked to the Milky way.<snip>

@JohnSheppard, put simply, I don't like your idea. I just can't see the houses suddenly dropping everything and putting all their differences aside, to mount an offensive on earth. I mean, they didn't do it in the first Nomad conflict when their very lives were at stake. They just carried on their petty conflicts leaving outlaws and terrorists to save all their butts. If a Nomad hypergate were discovered, I'd say more likely the houses would fight to control it.

ps. I would make more sense for the Order to drum up support and mount some kind of punitive expedition to Earth themselves.
