Greetings, fellow Marauders. *he speaks out with a spark of excitement in his eyes*
It would seem we were rather busy today. While still roaming the wonderful biodomes of Freeport 6 I received a scrambled signal on emergency channel. At once I manned the JM|-Golden.Tempest-[R] and left Freeport 6, heading towars the Tau-44 where a battle between the Marauders and the MiCo employees took place.
After jumping straight into the Tau-44 system I immediately spotted on my draidis two of our bombers: JM|-Rusty.Revenge[R] and JM|-Death.Trap-[R], as well as three ships belonging to the MiCo, that is two gunboats: MiCo|Blazing.Fire and MiCo|FighterShield, as well as a battlecruiser of theirs: MiCo|The.Banshee. I've entered the engagement and along with Rusty Revenge and Death Trap I took out the two gunboats.
When those were out of the picture we continued to bombard the battlecruiser, however it took shelter within the drydocks of the station before we managed to destroy it, however after taking very heavy damage from our cannons and torpedoes.
Then, we scooped the asteroid field in search of the MiCo base, that we suspected might be hidden somewhere within.
At the same time the Death Trap jumped to Tau-23 and shortly after reported that another MiCo ship and a Kusari Naval Forces Battleship are approaching...
The Grand Marauder continued to sweep the field in search of a base while I jumped to Tau-23 and together with the Death Trap, we anihilated the battleship changing it to a pile of scrap in no time.
The MiCo miner who accompanied and probably brought the battleship there in the first place, ran away in the meantime.
We flew straight to Cali in order to refuel and ressuply our vessels. Right after that I undocked and swept over the Tau-23 in search of possible targets.
At the same time, the Grand Marauder reported that he managed to find the location of MiCo base, in Tau-44.
And shortly after, I found a mining ship, Hegemon-class to be precise within the northern mining fields. It's cargo hold was filled with niobium ore. I demanded 10 millions from the miner and when he was giving me nothing but excuses I raised my demands to 12 millions... he refused to pay, claiming he doesn't have that much money... and since I so deeply "cared" for that... I brought swift death upon this foolish miner without further prolonging our boring conversation. *laughs*
Soon after JM|-Scrap.Refinery-[R] came along to tractor in the niobium floating in the debris field, which used to be a Hegemon.
Below I relay some eye-cady stuff, scans, destruction confirmations and such, relating to what I was just talking about.
To sum it all up... it was a lovely day, lots of blood spilled and lots of colourful explosions. I certainly hope for more of such wonderful adventures in the near future. *smiles*
