Doc's chat continued with one of his staffers longer than he thought. Setting up a shuttle to Canaria was proving more difficult than expected. Business from Shasta was going well and with all the official visits, more than a usual amount of shuttles were out. "Doc, I'm sorry but the only thing available is an older model X-shuttle. It's a bit slower than most and will need re-fuel stops at Curacao and New London but it will make it in a couple to three days time.....unless you want to take your yacht?"
"No, no," said Doc in response to the yacht, "that's for official visits and I won't be making exceptions for it. The x-shuttle will be fine."
"Yes, Sir," replied the staffer, "I'll make arrangements." As he left to do his work, a messenger came running and handing Doc a message pad, "this came for you, Sir." Doc took the pad, tipped the runner and went to a private place to read it. It was from Midori.

John Henry,
I have decided to take the children and return to Honshu to consider our relationship. I love you very much but your work keeps you away from home and it seems we are not on your schedule
Doc sighed as he knew this day may come. He continued reading:
I do not desire the estate nor will I deny you your children but being alone has finally gotten to me. I only ask that you find time to come to Honshu to discuss things further. Emiko misses her Daddy terribly. I will be waiting. You will find a small box in your top, dresser drawer.

He sighed, needing a minute for himself.
