Pirate attacking transports near Freeport One

Marcel Tas: Is my tie... Err... Greetings ladies and gentlemen. I am Marcel Tas, talking to you from the new CNN studios in Lanzarote Base. Today we bring to you an announcement of public utility, specialy for the Zoner community.

In the past few days, we received several reports of a ship broadcasting Zoner IFF pirating traders just outside Freeport One, in Omega 3, and also in the neighbour system Omega 7. A Security IMG ship intercepted the small transport called Love.Joy near the Guild's mining fields. The IMG pilot, that wishes to remain anonymous to avoyd trouble with the Guild's High Command, sent us this Scanner image that show that the pirate was carrying more than 400 slaves in his hold!

Next we received a transmission directed to all Zoners, from a Barge supertransport captain stating that he and also an ALG transport were pirated just outside Freeport One, inside the No-Fire Zone of the station.

At this communication transcript we can clearly see the disregard of this 'so-called Zoner' for any and all Freeport regulations:

The communiqué clearly showed that this criminal had fake papers, and is in no way from zoner origin, having probably hacked the IFF Codes of some poor zoner transport.

Traders are complaining that they aproach the Freeport, thinking they are safe, when suddenly the friendly zoner Pelican turns out to be a cheap pirate.

Yesterday, another source from IMG told us that a Guild's battletransport convoy was intercepted by a pirate small transport broadcasting zoner IFF. Possibly the same Love.Joy of the other reports. On a good note, the pirate transport was attacked and destroyed by the convoy in Omega 3 in the proximity of Aland Shipyards.

Just this morning I spoke with the acting CEO of Omicron Supply Industries, Jerard Voncloud, asking about his thoughts and opinions on this matter:

It saddens me to know that a pirate has decided to bismirch the Zoner name for his own deeds, making a mockery of what it is we stand for. I'd like to ask everyone to be diligant when dealing with this Pirate, for he is NO Zoner, and is not to be recognised as such.

So, again, we alert all traders passing by the Omega corridor, specialy in the proximity of Freeport One, to be alert for this pirate scum disguised as zoner, the ship name is Love.Joy. He might be using other ship or might have changed the name of the vessel, so BE ALERT! Dont take safety for granted just because the ship in your scanners is broadcasting a freelancer or zoner IFF. Cheap scum criminals like this rat are infesting Sirius, specialy in the Omegas and Rheinland house systems.
