a reminder cause quite some ppl seem to think that a thread "makes no sense"
this is a forum - and the actual meaning of a public forum is to voice ones opinion, state a situation from ones point of view - and make those who wish to listen - listen.
it is not about demands, crying or change - it is about saying what YOU think is wrong - or what you think can be done to be better. - it is much less about actually changing things. -
things change - but by writing as many views as possible, they change "better".
put it that way - how is a person in charge to know what the people want? - in RL you do marketresearch ... and we all know how much people hate participating in marketresearch ( yet they love statistics ) - here you make a thread ( the equivalent of standing on a public market place and speaking loudly to those who wish to listen )
when a decision is considered - they are free to read up such threads and base some of the decisions on what the people wrote. - that is still much better than basing decisions on nothing, cause no one every voiced their opinions at all. - cause THEN its really just skype buddies.
the best state of affairs is when one states an opinion, explains the "how" and "why" of the opinion - and leaves it like that. - unless it happens that they change the opinion of course, then its beneficial for them to write what caused the change of mind.
in short - stating an opinion is never detrimental as long as it not written in a way that it insults other members or makes fun of them. and for the devs it is always better to get as many opinions as possible compared to not getting sufficient.
