[Doc Holliday]

Doc just held her in comfort, dismissing the escort with a "Let me know when the pilot gets here. I know he's running late on short notice." The escort left and the bay door closed behind him.

"It's OK," he said to her as he stroked her long hair. It was at this point that he saw the datapad and with one hand, took it. He frowned when he saw it realizing that she had read it and blamed herself.
"So you know," he stated as he pocketed it. Biting his lip, he released her enough to get his hands on her shoulders and hold her back far enough to lower his head and look into her eyes.
"What's going on with Midori and I is not your fault," he said to her, "you have nothing to apologize for." He gave a soft shake of reassurance to her shoulders as he looked a bit deeper in to her eyes, "NOTHING!" He then gave a sigh, "this has been awhile in the making. She knew what she was getting into and now she can't take it." He paused a moment and then questioned, "Do you know what I was doing before you got here?"
When she shook her head, he answered, his hands still on her shoulders, "I was fighting with her over the com with my eldest child present. I told her that my work is too important." He paused a moment to catch himself, "And she wants another child........but not with me."

He then gave a light smile to Jaden, "See, it's not your fault. None of it nor does she know anything of what happened." There was then a long pause before he made a soft admission to her face, "And I'd do it again, Grog or no Grog."

He then took a tissue and began drying her face, treating her as a patient for the moment, "You're much too pretty to have a wet face like this." He again looked into her eyes with a smile, "So stop blaming yourself!"
