Dear comrades. Firstly I would like to apologise for my extremely meager flight hour count during the previous weeks. Circumstances have arised that prevented me from joining you in many fights, and I plan to even that out soon.
Secondly, I have made contact with the emerging Bundschuh pilot group whilst collaborating with the allied cruiser Varyag on an assault on RM forces in New Berlin. Although the two pilots supporting us (Herr Barnabas und Herr Konstantin) have described themselves as inexperienced, I sense great potential in these people and see myself working with them even more closely in the future. They have earned my trust after their contribution to the fight against the corrupt and oppressive military dogs.
I will have to put in a formal apology with them for not supporting them in my bomber for longer during the last RM ambush on their Bruchsal base. The Thor I was flying was underequipped, and I only managed to buy them some time against Victor Remond's gunboat before the RM fighters broke off to cripple my ship, and I was forced to dock at the nearby Bundschuh base. I am not sure how the fight turned out afterwards, but whatever the result I am sure that I will fly with them again, with my ship ready to fight for our cause.
