With her ease of maintenance, rugged reliability and near universal supply of readily available parts, the nimble Eagle often finds itself in service as the space superiority fighter of choice for pilots ranging from convoy escorts to house terrorists.

We've got a few of these on station, mostly from corporate escort types who saw the light. As far as very heavies go, the Eagle's on the lighter end, and can out turn most any equivalent ship it goes up against, and give a few heavy fighters a run for their money. However; in a straight up fight, a Wraith'll have the advantage on that front. Similar to the Griffin and the Falcon, parts are only marginally less common then rocks (and Rocs, at that) out here, so it's a handy ship to have on station if you're not quite set to learn to read German displays yet. Also it looks vaguely like a spider from front-on.
