Tobias and his brother Jack were born on planet Manhatten. Tobias is half bretonian from his mothers side and half Libertonian from his fathers side.
His father met Amelia on a hauling trip to Camebridge. It was love at the first sight for them and after some time they married and lived togheter on Manhatten. But Amelia died soon after Tobias and Jack came to the world. His father never really got over it but he was happy to have two sons. He selled his Freighter and started a job in a factory on the Planet, to be near as possible to his sons. Whenevery his father didnt got time to be by them his brother Daniel looked after the two boys.
Tobias grow up quite well in a small apartment and went to school. His grades were never really bad and has never been as strenuous as Jack. Maybe thats the reason why he was the child which got more love from his father. But that made Jack a bit jealous. Over the years his jealousy grow bigger and bigger. In his Teenager years Tobias started to work in a store to save a bit money to get his dream a bit closer, to explore the Universe and finde new planets, while Jack nearly never went to school and made friends with the wrong people. Tobias knew that and tried to bring him to reason but with no success. Jack distanced himself from the family.
One day Tobias was on the way back home from his school and he heared the yelling of Jack and the crying of a young girl behind the house. As he looked around the corner he saw Jack with a pistol in his hand, pointed on a guys head and the girl, which was his girlfriend, unconscious, on the ground. As Jack saw Tobias he said that his girlfriend cheated on him with this guy and that he made her unconscious with a punch, in his rage, just befor Tobias turned up. The guy tryed to take the moment that Jack was distracted to steal his gun, but Jack accidentally shoot him in the fight for the gun.
A neigbour already called the Police and soon they were surrounded by Police officers. The Police arrested Jack who sayed that it was a accident and with the unconscious girl, Tobias was the only one who know it was an accident. But he didnt say it because he was afraid he would go into Jail too. So Jack got arrested and the family stopped the contact to him. Nobody saw Jack again because he refused to get visits and after his releas he disapeared and didnt returned back. Tobias didnt know what to do but kept the secret for himself. He still regrets this, but he decided to never look back.
On his 20th birthday his uncle buyed Tobias a Rifle. One week after his birthday Tobias buyed a freighter and started to deliver Commodities. In his free time he tinkered on his Rifle with his uncle in his Workshop. He modified almost everything on the Rifle, only the housing is in original condition. Unfortunately Daniel died in a car accident.
That was the time were Tobias got into depressions and only was able to get over them with the help of his father. His father was always there for him and soon he was able to go on with his life. And the Rifle was the only thing that has been left from his uncle.
After another 3 years of working he made enough money to buy a Ahoudori with a Crew. Tobias started to explore the systems outside the colonies. He found some unique "souvenirs" and selled them to get on some money to maintenance his ship and pay the crew. But his dreams were still far away because the Ahoudori was not strong enough to survive the rough Omicrons. But still, Tobias wanted to go further, where no man was befor. So he did a trip to the Omicrons and nearly died. Luckly some Zoners helped him and brought him to Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta. The Zoners warned him that he will die if he goes on, but they didnt stopped him. They just gave him a route, for a safe travel back into the Colonies.
Even if he didnt wanted, he sat in his Captains chair and started to fly back, reluctantly. But on the way back he docked on Corfu to resupply and there he saw it. The wonderfull Corvo, a ship like in his dreams, a ship with which it was possible for him to make his dream real. And with the money he had and after some arrangements with the Zoners he buyed the Corvo. Still, its nearly impossible to explore space alone. Tobias knew that and searched for a group of explorers.
In the bar of the Livadia Shipyard he heared from the Barkeeper about the Solar Runners. A groupe of Zoners with the same dream. So he searched for them and sent a apply. They accepted him and now he was a proud member of the Solar Runners and the Captain of a Corvo. Now he started to really live his dream.
Under the tag of the Solar Runners, he explored the far edges of the Omicrons, saw many new Planets and even had a few encounters with Nomads, but he was allways able to fight them back.
During a mission for the Solar Runners he fell in love with Amy Smith, the daughter of a Solar Runners Councilman. But he held his feelings back, thinking he wouldnt have a chance to be together with a Councilmans daughter.
But with the time Tobias helped out the Councilman in many things and managed to get really good friends with the Councilman. Their friendship even got so far that Tobias saw a father figure in him. And somehow he noticed that Tobias had feelings for his daughter. Maybe it was Tobias's looks at Amy when they were together. The Councilman talked with Tobias and told him that Amy shared his feelings, he even helped them to get together. From that day Tobias and Amy were inseparable and they did everything together.
After he spend a lot of time with Amy, Tobias knew, this was the one person he want to spend his whole life together. So he asked Amy the biggest question in the life of a men. " Will you marry me?" and Amy was so surprised that she could only answer with a silent nodding. Tobias was never happier in his life and the next days gone in haste squirm and the big day came nearer and nearer.
But then Amy's father gave his life and everyone fall into deep mourning. Amy was destroyed on the ground but Tobias helped her out of this misery, like his father helped him out of his misery when Tobias was younger.
After a longer time, Amy and Tobias tried to get married again and they managed to do so.
Tobias really loves her and he tries everything to keep her safe on their adventures, even if he knows that she is quite capable of protecting herself.
But now Tobias started his biggest adventure, because recently he became a father and the ending of this adventure is yet to discover....
