COMM ID:Colonel Jonathan Beam, Tactical Operations, Department Chief TARGET ID:Units selected for Intel Op LOST CREEK SUBJECT:Operation ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:High
Operatives,
You've already been briefed of the operation, I'm here to give you the last minute changes. Due to political reasons, it's been decided that the King's Bay will only serve as a secondary-support role and will stay stationed in Magellan, out of sight. She will respond in the case the mission goes FUBAR and heavy support is required.
Instead, three Bisons will act as home-base within the Turtle Creek Nebula, they've been refitted to house multiple snubcraft and will be stocked with enough resources to last a month. A gunboat will be placed in formation in order to connect yourselves to the outside world. It's also been confirmed that Octavarium forces will indeed be joining the operation. As far as the politicians are concerned, the Natio Octavarium are now the reigning power in the system and are a neutral-friendly entity to Liberty. So, play nice, you don't need me to tell you to keep it tight anyway, but, just in case, keep it tight. I don't want any leaks.
If you find -anything- unusual, you report it immediately. I'll be blunt, I don't actually think we're going to find anything here but that Nebula is simply not normal, so there's a small chance that we'll actually find something, which is apparently enough for the Directorate to give the green on this op.
The operation will start within 48 hours, good hunting people.
