hhhmm this is a tough question... I really do love what player bases do for forum RP. The increased load on the server is troublesome though.

I agree with what Laura C. said

Make them take much longer to get up and operational. Yeah... this will suck for those building. However, it will allow for the bases to be destroyed more easily before it becomes near impossible. Right now there is no chance to react.
