Patently false. Gallia is not the main development focus for 4.87, but rather the catalyst for it. 4.85 introduced Gallia, 4.86 expanded it, 4.87 uses it as a tool.

Not entirely untrue, but I wouldn't say there are "literally dozens" considering there were only a few dozen factions in Freelancer.

sure you may have gotten a few tiny cumbs of the big cake and ran with it making you a little happy. but imagine there wasnt a fat lump at the dinner table called "wasted time" with a gallia t-shirt on eating all the cake so you were actually allowed some of it.

You seem to have a major issue with the drive behind the storyline.

ALL other factions non-gallic related would simply be better off without the existence of gallia, FACT.

Also false -- Gallia is a major plot point that each faction is responding to in the way it feels most appropriate.

devs might actually have put in time to figure out how to make Kusari somewhere people genuinely want to play, how to fix the sigmas again for the same reason.

Something players and factions are completely allowed to do on their own. Unless you need aerelm to hold your hand while you try to spark activity.

God there are just so many other things that could be fixed if everything wasnt being focused on Gallia

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't think any changes have touched Gallia for Update 6 at all and the main focus of the patch is Sirian factions and fixing broken gameplay mechanics. (post-edit: I'm wrong -- I think we've removed four dead-end systems.)

You seriously have no idea how much work has gone into everything between 4.85 and now. Removing Gallia from the mod would waste five years of work shared among several dozen people and most certainly be the oft-mocked "final nail" sealing Discovery's fate.

There are many more productive things you could be doing right now to try and spark activity in places that need it. Whining about Gallia isn't going to do jack.
