Greetings Citizens of the People's Republic

"Good evening, I am Vladamir Rykov and this is Volgograd News Agency, this afternoon we will be looking at something a bit closer to home than Bretonia, Liberty or even Rheinland. As children you may remember learning about one of our more dangerous neighbors, the self-proclaimed Corsair Empire, a band of survivors from the Hispania Sleeper Ship that settled on the Planet Crete, a world while livable left much to be desired in it's climate.

The Coalition has for the past several years been at odds with the Corsairs due to the Council of Elders betraying the old Coalition Leadership under Aeon's command which forced our remaining civilian population outside of Omega-52 as well as many sympathetic Corsairs to both Volgograd and JiangXi. I am joined today by a Commissar from the Ministry of Truth to discuss the current state of affairs in the war between the Corsair Empire, the Sirius Coalition and both side's assorted allies.

Commissar Tabakov, you are a front-line pilot who has fought the Corsairs across Sirius, can you explain to our viewers about the current state of the war?"

"Of course Comrade. *A deep breath is heard* At present the Red Hessians alongside a large contingent of Coalition Combat Pilots are holding a defensive line against hostile raiding parties despite the enemy having a larger force, strong defensive positions and the skill of our combat pilots maintain a stalemate and keep the Corsair invaders on the opposite side of the Omega-5 System, however due to the enemy also possessing a stronghold of their own, a large facility known as Cadiz, pushes are unlikely to occur so long as they maintain a massive force there."

"Ok Commissar Tabakov I must ask this as I am sure there are others in the Coalition who also are curious, are there plans in the future to change the status quo in the region, for years the Red Hessians have held the stalemate themselves but eventually something must change Da?

Eventually one side must break and show a weakness in their lines, when this happens does the Revolutionary Army have a plan of action to exploit such weaknesses in the lines?"

*A chuckle is heard from the Commissar*

"That is a fair question, however I cannot say much on current or future plans against the Corsair Garrison of Omega-5 for reasons of national security, but I will say this, the Revolutionary Army has several plans in the event of such a weakness. But let's move on to another system which is close to home that the Coalition has claims upon.

I am sure you know of the Reapers of Sirius and the Corsairs of Omega-50, the Reapers, being genocidal terrorists, attack our patrols any chance they get much like the local Corsairs do, although with little success I might add, while there is a sizable garrison of Corsairs within the system it is not as well manned as Omega-5 where a majority of the fighting is happening, at best they are a minor annoyance to us unlike the veterans of Omega-5. The Local Zoners due to our treaty do not take sides in this conflict thankfully for a third foe in the system would be troublesome enough, especially with it's link to Omega-49's Gran Canaria where a large number of Zoners, Corsairs and even a Bretonian Colony are located. All in all while Omega-50 is difficult to transverse it's not nearly as much of a threat as the Corsairs in Omega-5."

"Thank you Comrade, one last question about Omega-50 before you go, is the Revolutionary Army aware of any localized Garrison the Corsair Empire has within the system or are these raiders from Omega-49?"

"The Coalition is aware of a facility within the system yes, however it's precise location eludes us at this time which makes any combat sortie a failure before it can even begin. That's all the time I have for today Comrade."
